“Homesick” by Kings of Convenience
Like the title of this little post says, the future freaks me out. Maybe it’s due to the fact that I don’t know what to do with my future. Every single time I hear people talking about their paths and how they’re going to get there, I just get so overwhelmed, nervous. I’m not the greatest in the area of academics, not a great athlete, and I can’t write a good essay for my life. Isn’t college mostly about the essays? How the hell will I survive? I’m stuck in a bird cage at home. I don’t have much experience with the outside life, without family. I’m so dependent on others. When will I learn how to “fly on my own?” I’m lost.
